This course is excellent for the beginner wine enthusiast or those just starting out in a career in wine or hospitality.
This hands-on, one day course will introduce you, through tasting, to the key grape varieties and wine styles that are made around the world. Once you have completed the course you’ll be able to taste wine using the WSET’s Systematic Approach to Tasting and you’ll have a good understanding of the principles of food and wine pairing.
Every candidate will receive the workbook that accompanies the course.
The day will conclude with a 45 minute, multiple choice examination.
Successful students will receive a WSET certificate and pin.
