A course for professionals working in the wine industry and wine enthusiasts. Gain an extensive understanding of wines through a flexible, fully supported and interactive online study plan which allows you to study around your existing commitments.
This course is designed to develop your ability to describe wine accurately and account in detail for the style, quality and price of wines.

This is a home study course. A minimum of 10 hours study per week recommended to successfully complete the course. Candidates are advised to allow at least 6 weeks to complete this course. Regular access and participation is essential. Tasting is an essential part of studying for this course, and you will need to taste a minimum of 12 wines (not provided, but you will be given a list of recommended samples).
Successful students will receive a WSET certificate and pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.
The cost includes the SAT add-on tutorial, access to the online classroom, study materials, access to a tutor and the examination.
Registration for this course opens on 11th August 2017.
Deadline for registration is the 5th January 2018.
The target examination date is 18th February 2018. It is possible to defer your examination provided you do so before the registration deadline.
